2. Service description

NorthLumen Travel Guide provides informational content related to everyday travel planning, such as packing frameworks, organization routines, and general tips for navigating common travel scenarios. The Site is not a booking service, travel agency, insurance provider, or government resource. We do not process reservations or payments on the Site.

The content is general in nature and may not reflect the latest rules, requirements, or service changes for a specific destination. Travel requirements can differ by location and provider and can change without notice. You are responsible for verifying information with official sources before you travel.

We may update, expand, reduce, or discontinue parts of the Site at any time, including features, pages, or access methods. We may also introduce optional forms such as contact requests. Any such feature will include clear explanations of what happens after submission and links to relevant policies.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total direct liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will be limited to the amount you paid to us for use of the Site in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 EUR, whichever is lower. Because the Site is generally provided without charge, this limitation will typically mean that our liability is limited to 100 EUR or the minimum amount allowed by law.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In such cases, some of the above limitations may not apply to you, and our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NorthLumen Travel Guide and its operators, affiliates, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your infringement of any rights of a third party.

12. Dispute resolution

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and allow at least 30 days for informal resolution. This helps both sides address concerns efficiently and, where possible, avoid unnecessary legal proceedings.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may bring a claim in the courts specified in the Governing law section above, unless applicable law requires a different venue.
